Many thanks for OMM, that is really useful one.
I just wanted to clarify whether maps relate only to Germany? How can I find the maps for other countries?

It should work with other countries as well. There is no restriction to germany.

any hope of having it on WM7?

I’m to busy with work right now, so I won’t be able to start a new development for Windows Phone 7 in the near future. (Though I’m sick of the lack of a good mapping app for that platform….)

Installed but when i open de program shows me errors.

I guess you should update the .Net Compact Framework on your device. Try the one that is linked on http://omm.mine.nu .

What is the license for OMM? Are there sources available to get? Can I use it in my own application?

OMM is a closed source project. It is provided as is. You can’t use it in your own application other than simply starting OMM. If you would like some kind of interface for your application, contact me.

I'm searching a navigation software for wm7. Can I use openmobilemaps or work this app only with older wm versions?

OpenMobileMaps does not work on Windows Phone 7 devices. In fact, all applications that were written for WM6.5 and older do not work on WP7.

I am trying to force your program to use preloaded map tiles, I am using tools you advised maintaining directory structure. The tiles are in the folders but program still downloading data when trying to view certain area. Also I did not notice any difference in functionality after registering. Hi Piotr!
I’m glad you sorted out the problems for yourself.
After registration you can store your bookmarks on the OMM server as a backup - or to sync them between two or more devices.
Further you have access to all language files. So, you can download and use the polish translation file for OMM.

habe die 1.5 Version ausprobiert (HD2) und hat mir auf Anhieb gefallen. Jetzt dachte ich, kann ich ja im Marketplace kaufen und fertig. Leider ist das die 1.4 Version.
Frage: Wie kannn ich diese "upgraden"?

How long does it takes between the time of a PayPal donation and the time we get registered with full features version and no more the alert?

Registrations are processed manually by me. So, sometimes it can be very fast, and sometimes it can take a few hours. It depends on wheither I have access to the internet whereever I am at the moment of donation.
BTW: If you have just donated then it should be processed, now.
